You know that a show has hit it big when it makes it to the famous 'Koffee' couch. That's what happened with the newly launched magnum opus, 'The Empire' where Karan Johar came together with the cast for a special edition of his show - 'Koffee Shots with Karan'.
Audiences who have anticipated the exciting return of the most talked-about celebrity show of tinsel town, are in for a special treat. The inimitable Karan Johar, who makes the celebrities bare their deepest and darkest secrets on the Koffee couch, shot for a very special episode with the dynamic cast of OTT's biggest entertainer yet; Disney + Hotstar Specials 'The Empire'.
The Empire's powerhouse talent Kunal Kapoor, Dino Morea, and Drashti Dhami who have been receiving rave reviews post the show's launch, joined Karan Johar for an enthralling conversation spilling a lot of secrets, sharing fun moments, talking on their unique journeys, and more. The rapid fire round is inarguably one of the highlights of KJo's chat show. And this time, Drashti Dhami, Dino Morea, and Kunal Kapoor answered really interesting and tricky questions. However, let's talk about Kunal, in particular, who plays Mughal emperor Babur on the show. He gave honest and witty answers to KJo's questions. Needless to say, we root for him.
When asked which of the following three actresses he'd like to 'behead, marry, lock up' among Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt and Anushka Sharma, he after a small pause, said, "So I think I would behead Alia, just out of envy, for how talented she is. I think that would definitely happen. Anushka, I think I would marry, but I think Virat would behead me. Deepika I would lock up, because things of value and beauty should be locked up."
Furthermore, when he was asked on a battlefield who he thinks would be strategising, Kunal was quick to take Aamir Khan's name; for 'just yelling', he took his own name. And when asked who would be clicking selfies, Kunal said, "I think you (pointing at Karan Johar)." Dino imitated KJo's selfie clicking pose. Kunal again joked, "I don't think the battle would happen because you'd be waiting for the right light." To this, KJo replied, "No, my pout is on any light." During the rapid fire round, Kunal also shared that he would love to collaborate with Rajkumar Hirani one day. Kunal also gave wittily poetic answers to one question that asked for paigaam (a message) for Virat Kohli and Abhishek Bachchan.
